Quantities Resolve Against Published Standards

A takeoff tool that guesses is worse than no tool, because a wrong number carries the same confidence as a right one. theTakeoff derives quantities from the published standards your specs already reference. Bolt and gasket counts come off ASME B16.5 flange classes. Pipe wall and schedule logic follows ASME B31.3. Steel section weights resolve against the AISC Steel Construction Manual, so a W21x62 comes through at 62 pounds per foot every time.
